 You were slowly waking up, still a bit drowsy. You saw stiches on your ribs and arms and your leg was held up. "M-Mattie?" you asked as you saw Alfred and Matthew talking, Matthew faceing away from you. Matthew turned quickly and ran up to you. "You're awake! I'm so glad you're awake!" Matthew said. "Wait. How long have I been asleep?" you asked as Alfred slowly made his way to your bed. "You've been asleep for a whole day." Alfred said before Matthew could answer. "Wow." is all you said. "You did have to get stiches on your ribs, as you may of noticed, since the glass went really deep. If I would of stayed..." Matthew trailed off. "Shhh, no, you did even better with Alfred...Speaking of which, why did you even save my life anyway?" you asked. "Well, hehe it took a little bribe..." Alfred said. "A little! I had to promise I would but you McDonalds for a month!" Matthew said. "You're going to be broke at the end of the month Mattie." you said laughing but then whimpered. "Easy, (Name)." Matthew said strokeing your hair.

 "I'm ok, thanks to you both." you said smiling. "You're welcome and I was the hero, wasn't I?" Alfred asked proudly. You couldn't but smile at his obnoxious humour. "Yes, but you were not alone." you said putting your hand on top of Matthew's. He looked up at you with a huge blush and smiled. You kissed his cheek and Alfred pretended to be sick. "Oh, grow up Alfred!" Matthew said.
